Where are the shows?

Both SERHA shows; The Spring Celebration and The Double Run Farm Futurity and Main Event, will be held in Williamston, NC  in 2006. 

We also count points from The Carolina Classic, held the first weekend in May in Raleigh, NC; Blue Ridge Reining Horse Association show(s), and the Carolina Fall Classic, all held in Williamston, NC.

 Our year-end affiliate finals are held in conjunction with The Tradition in Springfield, OH.

How do I get started? 

  1. Join NRHA

  2. Join SERHA

  3. Find an NRHA licensed reining horse that you can ride (Rookies, Youth Rookies and Green Reiners can ride borrowed horses)

  4. Find someone to help you  - ideally a good reining trainer

  5. Start having fun!

Rookie of the Year...To compete in the Rookie division you must have NRHA Lifetime earnings less than $200 at the beginning of the year and hold a current NRHA Non Pro card. You should check the  NRHA rules and conditions for current Rookie of the Year qualification procedures.
